<p>Am diesjährigen Innocamp 36 der Fachhochschule Steyr durften wir innovative Ideen für ein “International Welcome Center“ entwickeln und darüber nachdenken, wie uns diese helfen können ausländische, technische Fachkräfte zu gewinnen. Den Anstoß dafür gab uns Walter Ortner und Hubert Heindl, welcher die Idee zu diesem Projekt hatte. Wie wir wissen sind Wohn- und Arbeitsbedingungen in Steyr wirklich ausgezeichnet, jedoch sind die Freizeitangebote speziell für die jungen Generation, im Vergleich zu Städten wie Wien oder Hamburg, sehr begrenzt. Dadurch findet die ausländische und auch österreichische Jugend diese Stadt nicht attraktiv und sieht daher keinen speziellen Anreiz um in diese Stadt wegen der Arbeit zu ziehen. Wir glauben aber fest daran, dass man diese Situation ändern kann und haben dazu folgende Vorschläge gesammelt.</p>

<p>Am diesjährigen Innocamp 36 der Fachhochschule Steyr durften wir innovative Ideen für ein “International Welcome Center“ entwickeln und darüber nachdenken, wie uns diese helfen können ausländische, technische Fachkräfte zu gewinnen. Den Anstoß dafür gab uns Walter Ortner und Hubert Heindl, welcher die Idee zu diesem Projekt hatte. Wie wir wissen sind Wohn- und Arbeitsbedingungen in Steyr wirklich ausgezeichnet, jedoch sind die Freizeitangebote speziell für die jungen Generation, im Vergleich zu Städten wie Wien oder Hamburg, sehr begrenzt. Dadurch findet die ausländische und auch österreichische Jugend diese Stadt nicht attraktiv und sieht daher keinen speziellen Anreiz um in diese Stadt wegen der Arbeit zu ziehen. Wir glauben aber fest daran, dass man diese Situation ändern kann und haben dazu folgende Vorschläge gesammelt.</p>

These three persons together with the head of the entire center will represent an executive board of the organization with all major strategical decisions made at join meetings of this board. Each team will be solely responsible for its direction and will interact with the corresponding counterparties like government, public offices, companies, service providers, universities and other organizations. The volume of contributions will depend on the company size and will be proportional to the number of employees, which each particular company will be therefore allowed to send to the center for integration purposes. As a non-profit organization IWC Steyr will also be able to apply for various grants and can additionaly be supported by regional government. Each team will be solely responsible for its direction and will interact with the corresponding counterparties like government, public offices, companies, service providers, universities and other organizations. These three persons together with the head of the entire center will represent an executive board of the organization with all major strategical decisions made at join meetings of this board. Each team will be solely responsible for its direction and will interact with the corresponding counterparties like government, public offices, companies, service providers, universities and other organizations. When the involvement of more than one team is needed (e.g. international technical case championship) the cross-functional project team will be formed under the supervision of the director of the center. </p> <p> </p> <ol start="2"> <li dir="ltr"> <p dir="ltr">Welchen Beitrag können Unternehmen leisten?</p> </li> </ol> <p> </p> <p dir="ltr">The companies should financial support the International Welcome Center (that is a non-profit organization) in order to ensure the availability of sufficient financing for its daily oprtations and strategic programs. The volume of contributions will depend on the company size and will be proportional to the number of employees, which each particular company will be therefore allowed to send to the center for integration purposes. As a non-profit organization IWC Steyr will also be able to apply for various grants and can additionaly be supported by regional government.
